Another way to donate is to fill up a old purse you are getting rid of and fill with menstrual products or bladder products then take to the homeless shelters. Women no matter where they live - in a home or on the streets still have a period to deal with. Let's make it a little easier to deal with. Donate today.

Did you know that the Dollar store has pads a, tampons and bladder pads. For $3 you can help a women in need. Please buy and donate next time your in the dollar store. $3 can make a BIG difference for someone.

It's so easy to help out. Next time you are at the store and buying food for the food pantry to donate think about menstrual products and also bladder control products to donate as well.

I wanted to share this video and express the importance of knowing about TSS. It may be rare but it can happen to anyone at any time. I learned about it through my experience with it. I was fortunate that my mother also experienced this and knew what was wrong. I am so glad I called her because she saved my life that day. I have heard stories of young girls going into shock and it being fatal. I urge all moms and daughters to please educate yourself on this and make sure it doesn't happen to you.

Talkin' Bout Lady Business is a non-profit that was started to help women and girls in the Mclean county and surrounding areas with menstrual and bladder products, along education on the topic.

I started this non-profit after finding out that women are still having to make the decision between eating or pads for their period. No one should have to do that.

No one likes to talk about their period but it is necessary for women and men to openly talk about it and make sure that everyone has what they need.

The link offers lots of information regarding the issue and a place you can donate financially. I take donations to food pantries here in Bloomington - Normal that can distribute to those in need.
