The Turnpike Ramblers Motorcycle Club was established in 1947 making it one of the oldest AMA registered clubs in America and the second oldest AMA club in Pennsylvania. The TPR is a charitable organization which has contributed thousands of dollars to local charities over the course of many years. The club is family oriented. Polite language and courteous personal conduct is expected in order to
maintain the family atmosphere where women and children feel comfortable. All makes of bikes are welcome. The Turnpike Ramblers feature a wonderful club house located in a beautiful setting facing North Mountain just north of Carlisle, Pennsylvania on HW 944 East (approx. 1/2 mile east from HW 34N). The club maintains an active ride schedule to include interesting weekend trips to locations such as the Finger Lakes in New York for winery tours, Wellsboro, Pennsylvania for the fall colors, the Skyline Drive in Virginia, or just local day or half day trips for lunch or ice cream. General membership meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM. Memberships are now available.
