The Turnpike Ramblers Motorcycle Club was established in 1947 making it one of the oldest AMA registered clubs in America and the second oldest AMA club in Pennsylvania. The TPR is a charitable organization which has contributed thousands of dollars to local charities over the course of many years. The club is family oriented. Polite language and courteous personal conduct is expected in order to

maintain the family atmosphere where women and children feel comfortable. All makes of bikes are welcome. The Turnpike Ramblers feature a wonderful club house located in a beautiful setting facing North Mountain just north of Carlisle, Pennsylvania on HW 944 East (approx. 1/2 mile east from HW 34N). The club maintains an active ride schedule to include interesting weekend trips to locations such as the Finger Lakes in New York for winery tours, Wellsboro, Pennsylvania for the fall colors, the Skyline Drive in Virginia, or just local day or half day trips for lunch or ice cream. If you want good company and to get the most enjoyment possible from having a motorcycle, please consider the Turnpike Ramblers Motorcycle Club! General membership meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM. Memberships are now available.

The money raffle yesterday was a success! We had perfect weather and got to meet lots of new people. Thank you so much to all who purchased raffle tickets, pull-tab tickets, and those who took time to stop out to our in-person event. This is a major fundraising event for our club and helps us to continue operating and providing an outlet for motorcycle enthusiasts. Also, a huge shoutout to the countless members who pulled together to make this a success. Now the most important part, the winners! Please see the photo below of our winner board. If you were a winner, you may have already been contacted or will be shortly. Thanks again to everyone who participated!

Please don't forget to come out and support our Money Raffle event this Saturday 22 August.

We'll be raffleing off MONEY with tickets being pulled every 15 minutes starting at 12pm and ending at 5:15pm.

Price includes a meal, adult beverage and a 3 month trial membership.

This year we are doing something a bit outside of the box. South Mountain Motorcycle shop has donated a Japanese 1100 4 cylinder Motorcycle.

We plan on starting this Motorcycle and holding it WIDE OPEN until it succumbs.

The individual who comes closest to the time it succumbs will be declared the winner!

Each "guesstimate" will allow you to be added to the list.

We'll also have tear offs for purchasing on site also.

If anyone is interested in coming down my way for Colonial Beach bike week and want to camp out let me know. We have spots available for campers and tents at Four Winds Campground Rappahannock Academy VA which is roughly a nice half hour motorcycle ride to Colonial Beach.

I just received a Text from my friend in Lancaster.

"I don't know if you would be interested in it, but a lady friend of mine wants to sell her fat boy. It's a 1991 with only 22,000 miles, she is the original owner and it looks great. She is asking $4000 for it but I think she would take less."
