Recent widespread windstorm uprooted hundred year old tree which fell onto several graves, but no tombstones were damaged. The cemetery thanks Randy Phillips for the complete cleanup.

The Carlisle Cemetery Association sends its prayers and thought to the Bob Hillman family. Bob served on the board 34 years from 1988 to 2022 and as president 18 years. During his time with us he helped many families find the final resting place for their loved ones, led the way for several improvements for the cemetery including the pavilion. To illustrate his dedication, he spent many hours of his personnel time to transfer all the cemetery records to digital format, a three year project. We will so miss Mr. Bob, I doubt that he can be replaced. Peace be with you.

On December 17, 2022 at 11:00 am, Wreaths Across America will be at Carlisle Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.
