Thank you Spur & Sprout for supporting the West Perry Farmers Market, and for all you do for nonprofits in our region!

We’re proud of the work Spur & Sprout has been doing with the West Perry Farmers Market to help strengthen the organization and position it for continued growth.

Through a recent nonprofit health scan, our team took a closer look at the Market’s people, money, programs, marketing, and strategy. From that work, we co-created a plan focused on helping the Market strengthen its outreach and increase engagement; supporting its goal of becoming an even stronger gathering place where the community can connect with local farmers, makers, and producers.

That mission also includes making fresh, locally produced food more affordable and accessible. WPFM accepts SNAP/EBT and Breadcoin and offers special matching opportunities that help customers stretch their food dollars even further; including matching 50% of SNAP purchases, up to $15, on designated Match Mondays.

A big thank you to Partnership for Better Health for partnering to make this nonprofit health scan possible!

We love getting to work behind the scenes with organizations like the West Perry Farmers Market, helping build the capacity, strategy, and communications needed to make an even greater impact in their communities.

Every person deserves a fair and just chance to achieve their highest potential for health.

Over the next few months, we will share what health equity means at the Partnership, and for our community.

Health equity exists when all people have fair and just access, opportunity, and resources to achieve their highest potential for health. To reach health equity, communities must take collective action to address policies, systems, and structures that influence health.
