Hello everyone! I would like to let you know that this page will be switching over to a new page because THE GOAL OF BECOMING AN OFFICIAL CHAPTER OF FOLDS OF HONOR IS NEARLY COMPLETE!!!

"Honor their sacrifice. Educate their legacy."

Because of the support of our CIS teams and families, Central Iowa Sports is honored to be able to donate $3,500 to the Folds of Honor Iowa Chapter.

Folds of Honor benefits the children of those Service Members and First Responders that sacrificed it all in the line of duty. Every dollar donated goes directly to a child of an Iowa Fallen Hero.

We are so excited to announce that we have partnered with the Iowa Cubs this year to help an organization that is starting an Iowa Chapter.

As part of their "swipes for sirens" program, for every stolen base by the Iowa Cubs this season, Hawkeye Medical Services LLC/ IV Infusion Therapy will be donating $4 to Folds of Honor 🇺🇸

Folds of Honor is a national organization that is starting an Iowa Chapter to help families of fallen and disabled Military Personnel and First Responders.

We are so Proud of our Team and Grateful for all your support to allow us to be able to give back to our community and support amazing organizations like this.

Good Luck to the Iowa Cubs and keep steeling those bases⚾️⚾️

Tons more info to come, but here is a “save the date” request for the 2nd Annual Central Iowa Sports Swinging to Salute our Veterans fundraiser for Folds of Honor - Iowa!

Friday, May 24th!

The machine is officially in motion to bring an official chapter of Folds of Honor to Iowa and Central Iowa Sports was one of the first entities to jump aboard! Last year was a success and this year will be even bigger than the last 🙂

If you have a baseball or softball player ages 11-14, be ready for more info soon! HR derby, skills competitions, and a whole bunch of family fun to raise money for the families of our veterans and first responders!

I think if it is official enough for them to share on their site, it’s official enough for me to share this huge news! Our board is in place and ready to officially bring a chapter of Folds of Honor to Iowa!

I can’t express how excited I am to share this. It was a goal that started just over a year ago, and with an incredible group of people stepping up as board members and all the support from so many of you the past year, it is happening! You guys give me goosebumps just typing this!

SO much more info to come. SO many great events planned. And SO many opportunities for you to become involved if you wish!

This will be a process…but as it says on their site…Folds of Honor Iowa…COMING SOON!

Hello! It's not too late to attend the Adult Prom benefitting Folds of Honor, DMFD Welfare Fund, and the Iowa Hero Academy! Tickets can still be purchased until capacity is reached.

There have been several requests for ways to contribute to the event if you're unable to make it,, so you can use the attached QR code if you fall under that category!

Attached is parking info for the event. Basically, there is parking in the parking garage immediately to the East of The Shop - DSM or you can park in the lot immediately to the Southest of The Shop - DSM.

The entrance to the building is on the East side.

Doors open at 5:30pm.

Thanks again for supporting our veterans and first responders!

Happy Veterans Day to all of my family, friends, and coworkers who have served our country! We are forever in your debt and your service has not been forgetten.

What better way to say thank you to our veterans than by "educating their legacies" by ensuring funds are there for their families through Folds of Honor Scholarships or by inspiring future soldiers to follow in their boots at the Iowa Hero Academy?
