Register today for UofI Tree Workshop being held Saturday, April 25 at Loveless Park.
During April, people across the world join to bring awareness for Protecting our Earth.
Trees are an essential part of Carlinville’s urban landscape, offering shade, evaporative cooling, habitat for local wildlife, and beauty throughout the seasons. Join us on Saturday, April 25 at 9 a.m. at Loveless Park in Carlinville for this free workshop and community tree-planting event that invites residents to learn more about the trees that help shape your town.
Participants will explore what makes up Carlinville’s urban forest, gain hands‑on experience planting a tree correctly, and learn how to prune trees properly. The event is open to all community members regardless of skill level or experience. Supplies, snacks, and refreshments will be provided.
Every tree in town—not just those in parks—contributes to Carlinville’s urban canopy!
