Hello everyone!
It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you all that we do not have enough kiddos to take our youth league to Virden. Even with kids I’m still expecting forms from, it’s just not enough. I understand that the time and travel added some inconvenience and I understand those parents that just couldn’t swing it.
We had to take things into consideration like bowl outs, size of teams, and just actual number of kids. If we have half bowl out and only have half the kids there kinda thing…that’s just not fair to Showtime. Bill was willing to stay open late on Sundays for us but with the amount we have, it just won’t be enough to expect cooks and attendants to stay when that is their afternoon/evening with their families. We have to be considerate of them as well.
Im so sorry to you all. I wish I had better news to share and a better outcome. I loved leading you all last year. I loved watching your kids grow as bowlers and kids. I had big dreams for our league over the years and plans to keep it growing and becoming stronger. I’m sorry that I have let you down.
Bill does have a youth league on Monday nights if you are interested in reaching out to him and getting on that league.
I still hope to coach the CHS and CMS bowlers in the winter and spring! Hopefully that won’t change.
For those that paid cash for their registration, I will have Tinslee get those to you Monday at school or you can text me if you would like to pick up! Checks, I planned to void and shred but if you want those back, please let me know!
