Community service is a cornerstone of the BBYCA experience, and we are grateful for partners like the Elko Senior Center who allow our cadets to serve and give back. Thank you for sharing your experience working with our cadets! 💙

Our cadets are always looking for meaningful ways to serve the communities that support them. Over the years, they have assisted with everything from preschool reading programs, community clean-up projects, animal shelters, event security and set up, and much more!

One of our teachers shares an important message for current and future cadets: trust the process. 💙

At BBYCA, we believe in removing barriers to success. Our program has 100% attendance and no homework. While the adjustment can be challenging at first, it does get easier with time, consistency, and a willingness to embrace change.

Growth doesn’t happen overnight, but those who stay committed often discover they are capable of far more than they ever imagined.

Before they cross the stage, our graduating cadets enjoyed a well-earned day of bowling, pizza, and time together celebrating all they’ve accomplished over the past 5.5 months. 🎳🍕🎓

From challenges overcome to goals achieved, this class has worked hard to reach graduation. We’re proud of each and every one of them and excited to see what comes next!

Court was officially in session! ⚖️

Our cadets stepped into the courtroom for a mock trial experience, taking on roles as attorneys, witnesses, jurors, and court officials. Dressed for the part and ready to argue their cases, they practiced public speaking, critical thinking, teamwork, and professionalism while learning how the justice system works.

A fun and engaging way to bring learning to life!

🌸 A little late, but too sweet not to share! 🌺

Before heading home for last month’s Home Pass, our cadets spent time creating handmade flowers to take home to their families. Activities like these give cadets the opportunity to practice patience, creativity, and thoughtfulness while creating something meaningful for the people who support them.

We hope these flowers brought a smile to their loved ones and served as a reminder of how much they’ve grown during their time at BBYCA. 💙
