Yesterday was EcoSavvy Insights one year anniversary of becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit! 🥳 We have been so honored to serve our community this last year and look forward to many more years promoting sustainable change in our little corner of Southwest Missouri! Here is a snapshot of all we’ve done in the last year:

~ Donated 40 birthday cakes to children in need through
~ Advocated for proper development of the Prospect Village redevelopment site and obtained multiple environmental reports through sunshine requests, and making those available to the public and ensuring permit modifications included safeguards for future monitoring
~ Advocated against the development of the data center in Wildwood Ranch
~ We joined our Galena KS neighbors in fighting for clean air quality as they pushback on the local landfill is polluting their air. We obtained 186 responses to our Galena KS environmental risk survey
~ We joined the Regional Resiliency Collective that was established by LEAD Agency in Miami OK, to continue to connect with regional environmental advocates out of Oklahoma
~ We received 2 grants from environmental activist organizations helping us further our mission in our community
~ We donated 50 plants for our Earth Day event to our local community members who pledged to CARE for Mother Earth.

Most of all, we have gotten to know our local community and have had the opportunity to learn from everyone who has given us their time. Our efforts would not be possible without our local community and for you guys we are forever thankful. I look forward to what year 2 will bring us. For those that have followed along and believed in us, thank you. 💗

Today EcoSavvy Insights received news that we will be receiving a $2,000 grant to deploy air monitors in Jasper County!! I’m so excited for how this grant will help us with air quality monitoring in our community! 🥳🎉

Hey guys! EcoSavvy is launching a fundraising campaign to purchase 3 Air Quality monitors to gather real time air quality data in Jasper County! We plan to deploy them near Wildwood Ranch, East Town, and in Oronogo! We need to raise $1,100 to purchase 3 monitors, a micro SD card and a batter pack for each!

Even if you can donate $1, any little bit helps! We are a 501(c)3 and can provide you with a donation receipt!

Doors open @ 5:00pm at The Emerald Event Centers just outside of Joplin, and performances begin at 6:00pm.

Just over a week away!

Join us for the inaugural Night of the Wrights on Friday, August 14

This event is all ages and we will be taking donations at the door so you can walk in for free or give what you'd like to support the cause. Proceeds go towards our partners EcoSavvy Insights and their as well as to continuing the mission of Storyteller Songwrights.

You can expect:

A Storyteller Showcase featuring veteran songwriters performing their own music and telling the stories behind the songs.

A full-band headlining performance and album release from Vagabond Grove & The Drifting Heads.

A Food & Art Market featuring local vendors to peruse between the tunes.

Doors open @ 5:00p at The Emerald Event Centers just outside of Joplin, and performances begin at 6:00p
