I truly believe if we have a "soul" then all living things possess one too.
We obviously have many things in common with mammals. Too much to mention but here's a few. We all share live births, nearly all of our main organs are the same, we need food, water, and companionship. We all bleed, feel fear, play, care for our babies, and enjoy relaxation.
Even insects and reptiles need the same things we do to survive, and many build intricate living quarters and have complicated work ethics. Look at ants, for example.
How can we be so arrogant and self centered to believe humans are the only beings to survive death? Not all of us are more intelligent, compassionate, and helpful than other species. Some people are mentally and physically inferior to animals.
The difference between us and them, is consciousness. We are aware of who we are as an individual. We ponder death at times. They do not. Is that a blessing or a curse?
I have seen photos and videos of numerous orbs, ectoplasm, and mists, sounds, odors, and movement, that have no other viable explanation except for being the ghost of a deceased pet.
