Elm Hill Nature's Edge

Elm Hill Nature's Edge Elm Hill Nature's Edge is a Carey village park on the east edge of town. Contact The Carey Link for more info.

Including a dog park, community orchard, native prairie, trees, paths and more, it is a joint effort of The Carey Link and the village of Carey. Just over three acres of the area will be planted to native prairie. A dog park will occupy the northern portion of the property. Perennial food plants, such as fruit trees and berries will be planted to the south and east. Walking paths, a large sculptur

e, and possibly a small pavilion dedicated to area veterans are planned as well. The park will be a place people can come to learn about and be closer to nature. We hope visitors are inspired by the perennial food plants and wildlife habitat to explore how they can be stewards of nature, perhaps including these elements in their homes or volunteering in local conservation efforts.
