Old Business:
-Sue Imhoff from the Carey Food Pantry was present to receive a donation from representatives from One Stop Carry Out (Ryan Niederkohr), Splinter's (Trisha Underwood), Angelo's (Nick Phillips), and The National Lime & Stone Community Fund (Dan Mapes) of electric heaters for distributions. Also contributing were The Coffee Shop (Ryan & Amy Pratt) and Steals & Deals (Charles & Adeline Hartley), who were unable to be present.
-Cassie met with some of the leaders in our new Kiwanis District in October, but no further information had been shared with her.
New Business:
-Trivia Night with Dylan Kromer Scholarship Fundraiser Wednesday, November 19, at 6:30 pm at the Carey Brewing Station

-We are singing at the County Home for our meeting on December 17. We will have a guitar (and trumpet?) to accompany us.
*Cards were brought today to sign, and they will be at the next meeting, also. You can also stop at Dietz Chiropractic to get/sign them.
-Marcy Lynch is coordinating bell ringing for the Salvation Army at Hometown Market in Carey. She has slots open on December 2, 8, 12, and 18 from 3-7 if anyone is interested. You can call her at (419) 396-3245 to sign up.
-The old Carey Kiwanis FB page is paused. Make sure you're following https://www.facebook.com/CareyKiwanisOhio.
-Trisha DeAmicis brought to our attention that the Carey Academic Boosters are having a membership drive. Their goals closely align with Kiwanis, and she encouraged us to see how we could get involved.
-We also discussed other fundraising options, as we no longer have a Pancake Day. It was generally agreed that the members would like to have a specific cause in mind when donating, rather than have it sit in our general fund. Ideas for fundraisers and causes to support were discussed.
Meetings are currently held at SPLINTER'S CAFE at noon on the first and third Wednesdays of each month:
December 3 - Ryan Phillips/The National Lime & Stone Carey Plant
December 17 - Caroling at County Home
January 7 - Time Management with the Ohio Auditor's Office
January 21 - Business Meeting
