Dog and Cat ADOPTIONS are happening this Saturday, August 29th! Visit our 10 acre campus in Carencro from 10am-1pm to meet your best friend! 🐶😸

This is the LAST weekend to take advantage of our reduced adoption fees of $25 for ALL predominately black dogs and cats. 🐾 We also have WAIVED adoptions for select, long stay shelter pets who deserve a shot at love and all the opportunities to be spoiled.

All pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on veterinary care and microchipped. Start the process by filling out an adoption form at acadianaanimalaid.org/adopt or just come by, tour our facility and meet some incredible animals in need.

Wabbit slipped out of her foster home during the storm, please help us find her! Wabbit is a 3 and a half month old puppy, spayed female, around 22lbs, tan, white and black. She is wearing a purple martingale collar (looks black when wet) with an AAA tag.

She went missing off of Thelma Dr. in Sunset, near David Dr. She was spotted but WILL run so please DO NOT chase and immediately call or text 337-520-1980 or 337-520-1555. Please share this post and help us spread the word so that we can get Wabbit back safe. ❤

✨ Introducing our PARVO SURVIVORS! 🎉
Not long ago these 7 warriors were under intensive care, battling a deadly, highly contagious disease known as parvovirus, which often impacts under-vaccinated dogs, primarily puppies. This litter had to receive around the clock medical care, many having to be syringe fed, and our team is so happy to say that ALL 7 survived!

But saving lives unfortunately comes with a price tag. Providing the immediate, supportive care they needed to go from critical condition to happy, healthy, and thriving, came at a cost of $6,000! BISSELL Pet Foundation has generously offered a $3,000 matching donation, so that for every dollar you give, you make double the impact! If you'd like to contribute to our medical fund, to offset the costs of urgent care such as these, please consider donating at animalaid.donorsupport.co/page/medical

Join us for a "Dogust" Adoption Event at Giles Volvo Cars in Lafayette, this Saturday, August 22nd, 10am-1pm! 🐾Meet your match! 🐾 With reduced adoption fees of $25 on all predominately black pets for the month.

Dogust is about celebrating rescue dogs, and so many of their seconds chances rely on YOU! There's going to be loveable labs, playful puppies and tons of tail wags. All pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on veterinary care and microchipped. You can fill out an adoption form NOW to be pre-approved: acadianaanimalaid.org/adopt.

It's WISHLIST WEDNESDAY, which means our cats and dogs are in need of your help. Our dogs are low on 🍪 soft, training treats, 🐾 leashes and 🐶 pill pockets. While our cats are asking for 🍽 purina adult and kitten food, 😸 litter boxes, 🐈 scratching boards and 🪄 wand toys.

These are some of our most in demand items, utilized DAILY for the care of our pets! They're simple but often necessary, ensuring that they receive the tools they need for better days ahead.
