We had the honor of presenting the very first Jamal Smiles Athlete of the Year Scholarship to Jamohn Dyson.🥳

Jamal was deeply involved in sports and had a love for all athletics. This award recognizes not only an athlete who shows up for their team, but also someone who demonstrates leadership, respect, character, and dedication.

We have watched Jamohn from afar and individually selected him as this year’s recipient. This award serves as a reminder that someone is always admiring, praying for, and rooting for you even when you don’t realize it.

We were honored to pour into him and provide financial support and gifts as he begins his college journey at Kentucky State University 💚💛🏈. Thank you to Talaih Robertson-McGee for making his custom college gear.

Jamohn, always remember that you have your Jamal Smiles family behind you. We are just a phone call away and we cannot wait to see all that you accomplish. Congratulations and best wishes on this exciting new chapter!😁🎓🥳

Congratulations Caleb🥳🎓 I still remember the first time I met you and how quiet and reserved you were. Watching you grow over time has truly been special to witness. As we built a relationship, I began to see your heart, your strength, and the amazing young man you are becoming. Seeing you grow in your faith, build positive relationships, and step into leadership has made me incredibly proud.
