Desert Foothills Volunteers

10/11/2026

We are partnering with Tech 4 Life Computers and Websites to oversee the volunteers at Taste of Cave Creek this year!
Cactus Shadows HS. Teacher Cassandra Day has rounded up about 50 students to volunteer at the gates taking and selling tickets!
When you come in, thank these kids for volunteering in our community!
Helping these kids be successful out in our
Community could be the difference in how they impact our future world.
There will be a Tech 4 Life volunteer at each gate overseeing the kids and the gate operations.
Foothills Caring Corps is providing shuttles (and drivers) for the event also.

Give them all a high five and ENJOY THE 2026 https://tasteofcavecreek.com/

Get ready for two incredible nights of food, drinks, live music, and a whole lot of Cave Creek fun! 🍻🍴🎶

October 14 & 15, 5 pm to 9 pm at Stagecoach Village.

Volunteers make our communities work!!

What would we do without our amazing volunteers? 💛

Look what just went up at the ranch: a brand-new garden house! 🏡 Our lesson materials, games, and tools now have a safe, dry home, so every session with the donkeys can start ready to go.

A heartfelt thank-you to Bill Moss and Mark Andrews, who gave their time, skill, and kindness to build it. This is what our volunteer team does: quiet, generous work behind the scenes that makes magic happen for the children and families we serve. 🫏

Curious what goes on behind the scenes at The Donkeys of the Heart? There's always a project waiting for helping hands, from building and fixing to caring for our long-eared friends. Bring your talents, and we'll bring the donkey hugs.

👉 Send us a message to find out how you can join the herd!
