We were given a large donation of ART books, this is only a sampling of what is available in our Cardiff-by-the-Sea Friends Book Nook. They are half priced for the month of April.

Our Cardiff Library Friends Book Group will be discussing this book at our monthly meeting April 16 We meet the third Thursday of every month at 10AM in our library community room. All are welcome.

We are most appreciative of the 38 people who signed a petition on December 24, 1913 requesting a library in Cardiff-by-the-Sea. The library opened in S. M. Holbrook’s Grocery, corner of Chesterfield and San Elijo, March 18, 1914. The library moved to its current location in 2003.
The friends of the Cardiff by the Sea Library will hold a 112th birthday celebration with half price books, media, and puzzles from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 14th. Members of the Friends of the Library will be admitted an hour early at 9:00 am.
And because this is a birthday celebration, there will be treats! (To be enjoyed outside of the library please.)

Artist Reception

Join local artist Gregory Cali this Saturday, February 28th, in the library from 2:00-4:00 P.M. for his artist reception.

Not only will his incredible photographs be for sale, but he will have an array of his greeting cards available. Refreshments will be served.
