Summer Fridays in Snowmass. ☀️🐾
What a summer it has been.
Our Mobile Unit spent Fridays in Snowmass meeting so many wonderful people — familiar local faces, first-time visitors, grandparents and grandchildren, parents and kids, and families traveling from near and far.
We watched people pause from their busy days to say hello, share a smile, sit for a moment, and connect with our animals.
Some came looking for them. Others happened upon us by chance. And somehow, those little encounters often turned into the sweetest moments! ❤️
That’s what we love most about this work — you never quite know who you’ll meet or what small moment of connection might stay with someone long after they leave.
Thank you, Snowmass, for another summer of warm welcomes, wagging tails, and memories worth holding on to.

Some afternoons just feel a little more magical. 🐐🐴💛
We had the absolute joy of welcoming our friends from Best Buddies Roaring Fork Valley to the Snowmass Rodeo for an afternoon filled with horses, connection, laughter, and friendship.
There’s something special that happens when people slow down, meet a horse, and simply share a little time together. The connection is real, the joy is contagious, and we’re so grateful we got to be part of it!
Thank you, Best Buddies, for spending such a beautiful afternoon with us. Our hearts (and our horses) are still smiling. 💛

Last week, after playing with the Nugget the rabbit, one of our kiddos got the bright idea to use the charcoal from the fire pit to draw on the stall wall. He mixed crushed charcoal and dirt with water to get a “paint” consistency, then started drawing. This is exactly how the Horse Boy Method works—you follow the child, letting their creativity flow and not being afraid to make a bit of a mess ✨✨
