ABC Research Lab The Anxiety, Behavior, and Cognition research lab at SIU is dedicated to better understanding of anxiety and related disorders and improving treatment.

The Anxiety, Behavior, and Cognition lab at Southern Illinois University is dedicated to increasing our understanding of the development, maintenance, and treatment of anxiety and anxiety disorders. More specifically, we are interested in (1) studying the developmental psychopathology of anxiety and worry in children, (2) understanding attentional deficits underpinning worry, rumination, and other

forms of repetitive negative thinking, (3) integrating technology and web based applications into the assessment and treatment of anxiety and (4) examining treatment effectiveness and novel treatment interventions for anxiety and mood symptoms.
