Carbondale has always been a town that found a way to move forward. This old photo of our train station is a pretty great reminder of where we started. And today, we get to celebrate just how far we’ve come. With the grand opening of Carbondale’s new transportation center, another chapter begins in a story that’s been tied to the railroad from the very beginning.

Here’s to honoring our history, celebrating a big day for downtown, and looking ahead to all the places Carbondale is going next.
