Today's search becomes tomorrow's history. The work you do today preserves your family's story for generations to come.

👉 Expert Principle: Preserving stories is one of the greatest gifts we can leave future generations.

08/31/2026

Walking into a room full of relatives you've never met takes courage. Belonging often begins with showing up.

👉 Every family gathering creates an opportunity for new memories to replace lost time.

08/29/2026

DNA can reveal relatives, but relationships are built through love, trust, and time.

👉 Family is defined by connection, commitment, and care—not DNA alone.

08/26/2026

Sometimes the biggest surprise isn't who your relatives are—it's discovering cultures, countries, and traditions that have always been part of you.

👉 Ethnicity results often open the door to a deeper understanding of heritage.

08/24/2026

Finding names and answers doesn't always remove every ache. Some losses remain, even after the mystery is solved.

👉 Healing isn't about having every answer—it's about learning to carry the truth with grace.

08/22/2026

Some discoveries arrive too late to fill every empty chair. But remembering those who are missing keeps their place in the family story.

👉Even when someone is gone, their story still matters.

💜 DNAngels + Right to Know: Supporting the Whole Journey 💜

We are proud to announce our community partnership with Right to Know, an organization that shares our commitment to supporting people whose lives have been impacted by adoption, donor conception, DNA surprises, misattributed parentage, and unexpected discoveries about biological family.

At DNAngels, our expertise is in the science and the search. Our Search Angels and researchers use DNA evidence, genetic genealogy, family trees, historical records, and careful analysis to help people identify their biological parents and find answers to questions that may have existed for a lifetime.

But finding the answer isn't always the end of the journey.

Sometimes, it's the beginning of an entirely new one.

A DNA discovery can bring joy and relief, but it can also bring grief, confusion, anger, questions about identity, complicated family dynamics, or emotions someone simply wasn't expecting. We recognize that those needs deserve specialized support, too.

That's where Right to Know comes in.

Right to Know maintains a professional directory of therapists, coaches, and other professionals who have experience supporting people affected by these very specific circumstances. They also provide free support groups, one-on-one mentorship, educational resources, and connections to people with lived experience who understand just how complicated these discoveries can be.

This partnership allows each organization to focus on what it does best.

🧬 DNAngels focuses on the DNA, genealogy, research, science, and solutions.

💜 Right to Know provides resources for the emotional support, connection, and ongoing care that may be needed before, during, and after the answers arrive.

Going forward, DNAngels clients who tell us they would like additional emotional support will be connected with Right to Know and the resources available through their community.

We believe finding biological family should never be treated as simply solving a puzzle. There is a real person—and often an entire family—on the other side of every answer.

We are incredibly grateful to have Right to Know as a trusted community partner and to be able to offer another layer of support to the people we serve.

Because you deserve the truth. You deserve answers. And you deserve support for whatever comes next.

Every family member's story is unique. Sometimes reunion introduces us to a completely different version of the life we imagined.

👉Every family's path is different, but every story deserves compassion.

08/17/2026

Two people can share DNA and still grow up with completely different experiences. Discovery often reveals not just who we are—but the life that might have been.

👉 Understanding another person's journey creates empathy, not comparison.
