🎬 Reminder: Free Screening & Live Q&A This Saturday!

Hey DNAngels family! This is your official reminder that our exclusive virtual screening of the powerful short documentary Are You My Brother? is happening tomorrow (Saturday, May 30th)!

If you haven’t reserved your spot yet, there is still time to grab a virtual seat.

In 2023, a Puerto Rican tattoo artist named Oscar Iglesias came to DNAngels searching for his biological father. His journey didn't just lead to his dadβ€”it also led him to a brother he never knew: Brooklyn-based documentary filmmaker Daniel A. Nelson. Daniel turned the camera on his own family to capture the beautiful, complex reality of meeting for the first time.

Tragically, Oscar passed away suddenly in June 2025. This film stands as a moving tribute to his legacy, and we are incredibly proud to host this screening to celebrate his story.

Hey DNAngels family!

We have some incredibly special news to share. You are cordially invited to a free virtual screening of a powerful new short documentary that hits very close to home for our community.

In 2023, a Puerto Rican tattoo artist named Oscar Iglesias came to DNAngels searching for his biological father. Working with one of our amazing Search Angels, his journey didn't just lead to his fatherβ€”it also led him to a brother he never knew: Brooklyn-based documentary filmmaker Daniel A. Nelson.

Daniel turned the camera on his own family over the next two years to capture the beautiful, messy, and complicated reality of meeting for the first time. Tragically, Oscar passed away suddenly in June 2025, and this film serves as a moving tribute to his legacy.

As an organization, we are immensely proud to host this event to celebrate Oscar's story.
