We mourn the passing of our fellow Legionnaire and friend, Terry Jones, a retired 1st Sergeant in the United States Army.

It is with deep respect and heartfelt sympathy that our American Legion family honors his life and service. First Sergeant Jones served his country with strength, discipline, and unwavering dedication—qualities that defined both his military career and the way he lived his life among us.

A First Sergeant is known as the backbone of the Army, the one who leads from the front and looks after the soldiers in their charge. Terry carried that spirit of leadership, loyalty, and service long after his uniform was hung up. He was a proud veteran, a valued member of our post, and a brother-in-arms who will be greatly missed.

On behalf of our entire American Legion Post, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing him. We thank them for sharing him with us and with this nation he served so faithfully.

May we remember his example of duty, honor, and country.

Rest easy, First Sergeant. Your watch is complete. 🇺🇸
