Hi All,
It seems like someone may be storing a kayak at the boat launch. If this is the case, this is a friendly reminder that kayaks, boats, and other personal property cannot be stored at the boat launch. Please remove ASAP.

There have been several instances this summer where the dock has been used for fishing and/or swimming. As posted, this is not allowed for safety and liability reasons.

Families & Friends of Pleasant Pond

I was driving from the Forks to the pond on the Boise road late this morning. About a half mile before the Divide Road intersection, I came upon a dead cow moose in the road and a Maine Game Warden. The warden stated the moose had been shot. No calls had been made about a collision where the moose was injured and dispatched. The circumstances were unknown, but the Game Warden Service is seeking any information relevant to this.
