NextStage is excited to produce our first event at The 418 Project in downtown Santa Cruz. Here is a little information about the theater.

Founded by dancer Rita Rivera in 1993, The 418 Project has been a multi-disciplinary, artist-driven collective and place maker for over 30 years. Dislocated by downtown redevelopment, The 418 Project gathered community support and purchased the former Riverfront Theater during the Covid pandemic.

Our Singer Songwriter Showcase will be in the Small Theater, which has plush, comfortable theater seating. Paid parking is available nearby at next door in the 2 story city parking lot. Or take the bus - it stops right in front of the theater!

Featuring:
Dan Frechette
Debbie Nargie-Brown
Mark Bradlyn
Rachel Anne Goodman
Glenn MacPherson
Nancy Cassidy

Last weekend, audiences were treated to two nights of Storytelling by NextStage Productions at the Actor's Theater in downtown Santa Cruz.

Each night, 8 the cast shared stories about life, death, travel, transformation and so much more. The actors worked all summer with director Brad Roades to craft engaging tales, delivered with polish, in the style of PBS' Moth Radio Hour. We were captivated both nights. We laughed, we cried, we wagged our tails in delight!

If you missed the show, you have another chance to hear these wonderful stories on Saturday, September 6 & Sunday, September 7 at 2pm at Mid-County Senior Center Annex, 829 Capitola Avenue, Capitola. Different casts and stories each afternoon.

$10 suggested donation at the door (cash only).
