Today, at the Maryland State Firefighter’s Association Convention, Treasurer Charles “Charlie” Miller was recognized for his extraordinary dedication and lifelong service.
Charlie, now 92 years old, has been a proud member of the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department for 76 years. Over that time, he has served in multiple leadership roles, including Chief, President, and Treasurer—spending more than 35 years as Treasurer alone.
Congratulations, Charlie, on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you for your incredible decades of service, leadership, and commitment to your community. Your dedication is truly inspiring and deeply appreciated.
