Message from President Christine Stark,

As we turn the page on another busy month, I wanted to take a moment to welcome back so many of our seasonal members and to celebrate some of the wonderful things this amazing group accomplished in May.

We kicked things off with a delightful Plant & Sip at Yard by Yard, where good company and green thumbs were equally abundant and everyone left with at least one arrangement.

A dedicated crew gave the library landscape a much-needed spring refresh, and our flower pot planting team once again worked their magic getting all those beautiful plants arranged in record time.

The community garden was tilled, prepared, and ready to welcome another growing season. Our Garden Chairwoman- Joanne is asking for volunteers to help plant on Tuesday Morning at 10 am. Help us continue to prove that many hands really do make light work.

In between all that hard work, we still found time to enjoy breakfast gatherings, celebrate birthdays, attend ceremonies around town, and support one another in the countless ways that make this organization special.

What a wonderful group to belong to, and what a blessing it is to be part of a community filled with people who care about making Cape Vincent a better place.

As we head into June, I would ask everyone to remember that not all struggles are visible. A friendly smile, a quick phone call, or text, a wave across the street, or a simple "How are you?" can mean more than we realize.

Let's continue to look out for one another with the same kindness and generous spirit we bring to every project.

Thank you for everything you do. The flowers may get much of the attention, but it's the people behind them who make this community bloom. (you see what I did there...😁🤗 pun intended).

Everyone is welcome to attend our meeting, Tuesday, June 2, 6pm at the Community House.

Respectfully,

Christine Stark

Thank you, Diane Sanders, for an extraordinary effort getting the flower pots ready! They look fantastic!
