This morning at 0911, members from TRACEN Cape May, tenant commands, and dependents came together to participate in a 5K run/walk honoring those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Each participant ran while wearing the name of someone who had fallen that day. This event served not only as a tribute to the fallen but also as a reminder of the significance and impact of that tragic day.

Hosted by the CGEA Garden State Branch, we had an outstanding turnout, with strong participation from units across the base and distinguished involvement from the Commanding Officer, Executive Officer, Command Master Chief, and members of the dive team.

Thank you to everyone who participated or showed up to support the event. Special thank you to the Fire Department on base for setting up the finish line.

Hello Everyone!

CGEA Garden State Branch would like to invite all members and dependants around the area to join us for our annual 9/11 Remembrance 5K. Each runner will run with a name to honor someone who passed away during the September 11th, 2001 attacks.

Date: Thursday September 11th, 2025
Meet at TRACEN CM in the parking lot of the tennis courts at 0845.
Run starts at 0911.

Light snacks and water will be avaliable.
