Grace Recovery Leading and Loving people from addiction to freedom in Christ Visit www.gracerecoverycg.com for more information, ways to get involved and to stay connected.

At Grace Recovery, we believe in a balanced approach to healing — one that embraces both modern recovery tools and unwavering faith. We value and utilize proven medical, therapeutic, and mental health resources such as counseling, medication, support meetings, and trauma-informed practices. At the same time, we recognize that faith is a vital cornerstone in lasting recovery and personal transforma

tion. At Grace Recovery, the evidence-based practices used by our partner rehabilitation centers are fully supported and encouraged — while we also acknowledge our ultimate need for Jesus as the true source of freedom, sobriety, and lasting success. The faith component of our program includes:
Christ-centered meetings and discussions focused on finding identity, purpose, and freedom in Christ. Prayer and worship as powerful tools for peace, strength, and renewal. Biblical principles integrated with proven recovery practices, helping participants apply spiritual truths to their daily lives. Faith-based mentorship and community, where participants are supported, encouraged, and reminded they are never alone in their journey. Scripture and devotionals that speak directly to themes of healing, forgiveness, and restoration. Faith at Grace Recovery is not about religion — it’s about relationship. It’s about walking with God, discovering His grace, and experiencing the freedom only He can bring. We offer a seven week work force re-entry program called Work Life, weekly recovery meetings, and in the near future we will open the doors to our women's sober living residential home called, "Freedom House'.

Why Sober Saturday?!

….It’s so important because weekends can be some of the hardest moments in recovery. For many people, Saturdays used to mean partying, numbing pain, chasing a high, or trying to escape reality. Addiction creates patterns, and even after choosing sobriety, the mind can still drift back to what it once knew so well.

That’s why having a safe place to come, people who understand, and the presence of God and community matters so deeply.

We believe recovery is not just about staying sober but that it’s about finding healing, purpose, freedom, and learning how to truly live again.

Saturday nights don’t have to feel empty anymore. They can become nights filled with hope, encouragement, laughter, worship, and genuine connection.

If you or someone you love is walking through addiction, recovery, or simply needs support, you are not alone. There is a seat for you here. No judgment. No shame. Just grace.

Join us tomorrow night at 6PM for Sober Saturday Service. 610 Independence-Fredrick St entrance.

Come as you are. We can’t wait to welcome you.

As we get ready for Sober Saturday this weekend, we’ve been thinking about how different life can look under God’s covering and in true freedom. 💜

Sometimes the things we once overlooked become the very things we’re most thankful for:
✨ Peace
✨ Clear minds
✨ Healthy relationships
✨ A quiet morning
✨ Family dinners
✨ Real joy
✨ Simply waking up with hope

So we want to hear from YOU 👇

What’s one simple thing you may have taken for granted while living outside of God’s will that you now find joy in today?

Your story could encourage someone else more than you know. 🙌

Freedom House is more than just a building, it’s a place where lives will be rebuilt, hope will be restored, and recovery will have room to grow. 💜

As we move into the next phase of renovations, there are still many ways for our community to be part of what God is doing through Grace Recovery. Every bed, couch, appliance, light fixture, and finishing touch helps create a safe and supportive home for individuals walking through recovery and rebuilding their lives.

This house exists because people need more than sobriety-they need stability, community, accountability, and hope. Freedom House will be a place where healing can truly begin.

If you would like to partner with us and help bring Freedom House to completion, you can give directly through our registry here:
