Yet, the typical martial art schools largely do just that, ignoring the unique developmental needs of children at specific points of growth. ADULTS - More than ever before you have more on your shoulders, more stress, more concerns for you and your families safety. It's hard to maintain focus. As we grow older we become more physically challenged. Each of our programs, Early SKILLZ (ages 3-4), Basic SKILLZ (ages 5-6), Core SKILLZ (ages 7-9), Extreme SKILLZ (ages 10-14), Spectrum SKILLZ (child autistic program) and Signature SKILLZ (adults) focuses on the eight most prevalent skills needed for the proper development and or success of the individual. SELF-DEFENSE - Children and adults will learn practical self-defense, appropriate for their age and development. More than just physical self-defense, it is also important to learn verbal self-defense and body language. Not all instances require physical defense, but if and when it does, it matters to understand the body, not just how to punch and kick. GOAL SETTING - One of the biggest things that prevents people from being successful is understanding how to set goals and achieve them. This is a BIG aspect of our programs for all ages. It is never to early to learn. We also provide additional beneficial programs (included) such as Life SKILLZ for the kids and Mindsight SKILLZ for adult students and Parent SKILLZ (free) for parents in general.
