Roddy may have three legs, but that doesnโ€™t slow him down one bit!

When Roddy first arrived, he was struggling with a badly damaged leg that had fused in an awkward and painful position. After careful evaluation by our veterinarian, the best choice was amputation, and it truly gave him a new lease on life. He feels SO much better now and is thriving!

Roddy can do pretty much anything a four-legged dog can doโ€ฆhe runs, plays, explores, and lives life to the fullest! He has the same interests as any other dog: zoomies, toys, treats, belly rubs, and being near his people.

He's friendly, fun, loving, and has the best happy-go-lucky attitude. Whether he's chasing a ball, going for a walk or curling up for cuddle time, Roddy just wants to be part of your world.

Roddy is a little over a year old. He is neutered, vaccinated & microchipped. Roddy is ready to meet his forever family. Could that be you?

Today's Volunteer Training was a success! Kaycee is grateful for each one of our incredible volunteers and had a great day socializing with different groups! ๐Ÿงก

Huge thanks to all of our Volunteer groups who came out and spent time with dogs like Kaycee, helped prep enrichment, AND got us caught up on the laundry!! ๐Ÿพ

We had such a great turnout and can't thank our new Volunteers enough for deciding to come get involved!

These positions all require that you are available on weekends and some holidays.

To apply, come to our open interviews TODAY (8/27) noon-6:30pm. No appointment needed. Do not call, just show up during the designated time. Bring a resume if you have one, but it is not required. Must be 18 years old to apply. Starts at minimum wage.

If you didn't know, yesterday was National Dog Day! ๐ŸถSo obviously we celebrated by spending the afternoon with residents at one of our favorite nursing homes ๐Ÿพ
