This little dude is so incredible, & silly, & lovely, & I cannot fathom how he has been adoption available for almost THREE WEEKS with no real interest?
Mort loves food. He LOVES toys. He loves snuggles. He loves car rides. He does well with other dogs (he does think trying to hump is a good way to initiate play, but he can handle rejection if someone were to correct him about that!), he is likely potty trained (although I recommend a belly band for the first hour or two at his new home, he does tend to mark in new places at first, but once its out of his system he’s a clean little guy!).
He does have some pretty chronic allergies & will need maintenance for those, & likely allergen friendly food (he’s on sensitive skin & stomach right now, & seems to be doing better with that than he was with the chicken!).
He can be shy at first, & prefers kids over 10. He will likely growl at you when you first meet, but don’t take it personal, he’s small & he doesn’t want to pick the wrong person to go home with, you understand! But once he warms up to you he loves snuggles, & playing, & doesn’t mind being picked up if need be!
We have Mort listed as 10 years old, but you wouldn’t know it! He’s as active as he is adorable, & would make a lovely roommate for anyone looking for a little chihuahua of their own! I mostly just want to see Mort go to someone who is as obsessed with him as I am, whoever that may be🥹💕
