It's Homecoming weekend in Cape G!

Catch the parade on Broadway Saturday at 9:30 am, then head to Houck Field at 2:00 pm to see the Redhawks take on Western Illinois.

Take an easy walk or ride along LaCroix Trail, wander the wooded paths at the Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center on your way out of town, get your heart rate up on a run or mountain bike ride at Klaus Park, or keep it mellow with river views at Riverfront Park.

Green's Garden is a family-run market and restaurant with a pretty simple mission: real food, done right.

October in Cape is stacked!

Here's what's on the calendar this month:

Homecoming weekend takes over downtown mid-month, with the parade rolling down Broadway and the Redhawks back at Houck Field.

Broadway Blues returns with Kingdom Brothers bringing their blues, R&B, and gospel sound to Scout Hall.

The Riverfront Fall Festival fills the riverfront with live music, local food, and craft vendors.

And Halloween happenings pop up all over town as we get closer to the 31st.
