Save the Date and make plans to attend the City Council meeting on Monday, April 17, as Brennon Todt, Liz Haynes, and Dr. Steve Hoffman present Brennon’s proposed Development Agreement. We received the 4 necessary votes to pursue an alternative to demolition, and our next goal is to receive at least 4 votes to accept the agreement and move forward with the project rather than demolition. We hope to see you at City Council Chambers at City Hall on April 17 at 5 PM! Let’s help support historic preservation and the economic vitality of OUR downtown community for centuries to come!

The City Council is meeting July 1st to discuss the theatre and we need your help.

1. Call your city council member and ask to use the Covid money to stabilize the theatre instead of tearing it down.

2. Sign a petition at Speakeasy Coffee Co.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!! Although the city did not renew our extension request, we still have time to stabilize the building before it gets demolished. Since then we have received two grants. One $5000 grant from the National Preservation Institute and a grant to assess hazardous waste from the Brownsfield Grant.

So please help us out by:
