Your generosity and community spirit made the evening a wonderful success.

Because of your participationโ€”whether you attended, donated desserts, bid in the auction, helped serve, or simply spread the wordโ€”we were able to raise funds that will go directly toward scholarships for local students. The Cape Fair Friends of Cape Fair Community Center are having a fundraising chili and chili dog supper with a dessert auction. The supper is at the Cape Fair Community Center on Thursday, February 19 from 4 to 6PM.

The supper will feature chili and chili dogs with other sides. $5 for a bowl of chili and $3 for a chili dog (donations also accepted) proceeds to support the scholarship fund for local students.

The dessert auction will feature special guest auctioneer Sheriff Doug Rader. Donโ€™t miss all the yummy desserts prepared by the Cape Fair Friends!

Come in for a hearty bowl of homemade chili (or a chili dog with sides), then stay for the dessert auction. If youโ€™ve never been to one, itโ€™s part entertainment and part friendly competitionโ€”people bidding, laughing, and going home with something delicious. Weโ€™ll have a special guest auctioneer, Sheriff Doug Rader, to keep things lively.

Robert has a big heart for Cape Fair Community Center, and we wanted to show our appreciation in a tangible way.

These talented quilt ladies came together to make this quilt as a true group effortโ€”everyone donated materials, some cut the pieces, some sewed them together, one added the border, another did the quilting, and another finished the binding.

Robert does so much behind the scenes: helping with the food pantry, pitching in around the Community Center, and supporting our auctions in countless ways. This quilt is our way of saying โ€œthank youโ€ for all you do, Robert.
