Hey friends! Please help out our Maine Track Club sister race - Mid Winter Classic! We share a portion of the course with them

and friendos, this could be YOU! Except for our sister race MidWinter Classic!

Maine Track Club needs more volunteers to help successfully and safely put on the annual 10mi race through Cape Elizabeth! They're critically short on course marshall volunteers and could use help in a few other spots.

Course Marshalls are a vital role in every race - they help keep runners safe and on track plus, more selfishly, get a front row seat to cheer everyone on!

If you're able to, please bundle up and lend a hand on Sunday 5 Feb! We'll put a clickable link for signups in our IG story and as a FB comment!

MidWinter Classic supports youth running at local schools based on the top 20 zip codes of registered runners AND volunteers so by signing up to volunteer, you could tip the scale to help out your school's running program 😍

Good Morning Friendos!

As you may or may not know, all discarded clothing is picked up along the course and whatever isn't reclaimed gets washed, sorted, and donated.

This year, 2 bags of items ended up in storage by accident so the washing process was a bit delayed. But over the weekend, a volunteer went thru the bags and found this little fella!

He's been given a wipe down to get ready for his social media debut! We'd love to get him back to his human so please share this post and help us reunite him!

[The clothes were donated to Through These Doors, Milestone Recovery, and Preble St. Any item found not fit for donation was pulled and sent to Apparel Impact for textile recycling]

And it's a wrap! Thanks to all the Turkey Trotters (and walkers and runners, too!) that participated in the Annual Maine Track Club Turkey Trot 5K in Cape Elizabeth and raised over $5,000 and lots of donated food for our community. We are grateful!
