Please join me in giving a warm Cape Coral welcome to a great friend of mine, and new Cape Coral resident, Chaunce Hayden! (On the right)
I’ve known Chaunce for over 20 years, going back to our days in the New Jersey music scene. On top of serving our country in the U.S. Navy, Chaunce built an incredible career as a journalist and gossip columnist. Over the years, he’s interviewed hundreds of celebrities, rock stars, and comedians, and was a regular on The Howard Stern Show.
He’s dropping a new book soon—Headlines, Hangovers and Fatherhood—and will be making the rounds on major podcasts like Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson.
Chaunce is truly an amazing human being and a fantastic new addition to our SWFL community. If you see him around town, show him some love and give him a big hello!
Chaunce—thank you for your service and welcome to Cape Coral! 🇺🇸

❤️🇺🇸 OHH SUPPORTER SHOUT-OUT: SUSIE KEENEY! 🇺🇸❤️
There are people who support a mission and then there are people who show up for it over and over again.
Susie Keeney is one of those people.
Susie is ALWAYS one of the first to buy a ticket, grab raffle tickets, attend an event, support a fundraiser, and step up whenever OHH is doing something to help our local veterans. She doesn’t just tell us she supports what we do — she proves it with her actions, again and again.
Chances are, if you’ve seen Susie at one of our events, you’ve probably seen her along side Jim Ronca, bass player for Dead Man's Hand, supporting our community and having a good time while doing it!
Susie, your loyalty to OHH and the veterans we serve means more to us than you probably realize. Organizations like ours can only keep answering the call because people like YOU continue answering ours.
Thank you for believing in our mission. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for giving and cheering us on. Most importantly, thank you for loving our veterans right alongside us.
We are incredibly grateful to have you in the OHH family, Susie. ❤️🤍💙
Everyone help us show some love to Susie Keeney — one of OHH’s most loyal and steadfast supporters! 🇺🇸

Meet George from American Legion Post 90! A retired Navy veteran, renowned author, and dedicated community advocate, George is also a proud member of our OHH family. If you spot this hero around town, be sure to give him a high five or treat him to an iced tea! Thank you, George, for everything you do—we are truly blessed to have a philanthropist like you on our team and in our community. ❤️

It's always nice running into some of our local veterans when we're out and about in the Cape. Dave Muir (left) served our country in the Navy, is a retired Sherrif and makes the best Sloppy Joe sandwich in Southwest Florida! If you see Dave out and about, show him some love. We thank you for your service Dave.

Handcrafted with love by a talented local artisan and her Cape Coral quilting club, this one-of-a-kind quilt was created specifically to support O.H.H. Every raffle ticket purchased helps us raise vital funds for our veterans.
We will draw and announce the lucky winner on Veterans Day at Post 90 immediately following the parade. Even if you don't enter, we’d love for you to celebrate with us at Post 90 after the parade!

Here are some photos from our VA Hospital Veterans breakfast we held in partnership with the Blue Star Mother's back on July 15 of this year.
Special thanks to Hello Glow!
We were able to provide breakfast to nearly 120 veterans and reminded them that their community has not forgotten their service.
