er life changing injuries. American Military Veterans Foundation’s primary mission is to help all service members w no matter what their era of service. Our secondary missions are to actively support the wounded warrior, caregiver, and their immediate family. Our primary mission is carried out by actively mentoring wounded warriors through outdoor activities. These outdoor activities actively promote a friendly and peaceful environment that helps our veterans heal by being around other veterans who understand their mental & physical issues. Our secondary mission is carried out by actively mentoring caregivers through a relaxing day away while their warrior actively participating in outdoor activities. These missions are accomplished by stress free day at the local Spa and actively promote a healing and peaceful environment and helps caregivers themselves deal with their daily burdens by being around other caregivers who understand their daily struggles. We hope to bring inspiration and confidence to our veterans through teaching a love of the outdoors, hobbies, and the development of new friendships that can be sustained for a lifetime. American Military Veterans Foundation membership is open to all service members past, present no matter what their era of service. The aims and purposes of this organization are as follows:
To serve our country in peace as in war; to build and maintain the welfare of the United States of America toward lasting prosperity and peace for all its inhabitants;
To inspire in our membership a sense of responsibility and to develop leadership for the preservation of our American democratic way of life;
To help unify divergent groups in the overall interest of American democracy;
To train our youth to become purposeful citizens in a democracy with full knowledge of the responsibilities as well as the privileges of citizenship;
To cooperate with all duly recognized existing veterans organizations in the furtherance of the aims of the veterans who have served or are serving in the Armed Forces of the United States;
To ensure the orderly return of the veteran to civilian life by protecting the rights of individuals while the service member is still in uniform;
To expedite and assist in the rehabilitation of veterans by maintaining employment services; sponsoring educational opportunities; financial assistance due to undue hardship, housing, recreation, personal problems, hospitalization and veterans benefits;
To act as a liaison agent between the veteran and the government;
To provide an organization to encourage fellowship among all American Military Veterans who have served or are serving in the Armed Forces of the United States;
and
To keep the public forever reminded that the American Military Veterans who have served or are serving in the Armed Forces of the United States fought and served to preserve peace, liberty and democracy for their nation.
