Southwest Florida Astronomical Society, Inc. The Southwest Florida Astronomical Society, Inc. was formed in 1980 by amateur astronomers in Lee County, FL to educate about the wonders of the night sky!

S.W.F.A.S. regularly works with the Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium, as well as Florida Gulf Coast University with public observing events. We meet the 1st Thursday of the month (7:30 P.M.): Calusa Nature Center and Pla
