Annual Burrowing Owl Census June 3, 2023
We hope many of our members and friends will be able to take part in the fun 1/2 day experience of counting the owls. This is very important to us especially this year as we and the owls continue to recover from Ian. This is also important as we are finding so many owls and chicks poisoned from rat poison.

Instead of in person training sessions Honey will be providing a powerpoint presentation to all who sign up.
At noon, we will be announcing the winner of this year's burrowing owl photo contest.

A Reminder of Upcoming Events
Hi All:
Tuesday May 30th @ 5:00 P. M. - The Oasis Elementary School is having an event to dedicate their Butterfly Garden. OES - South Campus 3415 Oasis Blvd. If you plan to attend please RSVP to: [email protected]
June 3rd - Rotary Park and city Wide
This will be a very special day for all. With the help of so many we will be able to count the owls for this year's burrowing owl census. At noon at Rotary Park, the winner of this year's photo contest will be announced, and we know how special that is. Hope you have gone on our web-site to see the competing photos - they are so much fun.
In addition the City of Cape Coral is offering one free native tree per person to Cape Coral residents. This will take place from 12 - 3 at Rotary Park.
