As we start a new week, I would like to remind you that we are using a number system. This means that once we are out of numbers we will have to ask you to come back on our next service day. We cannot control how many people are in line at 8:30 or when we give numbers out. Some days we can still give out numbers at 10am (slow day) but that’s not always the case. We want to help you, please do not argue with our volunteers. The rules apply to every family we serve.

For anyone wondering why there were two detectives at the pantry today, they were gathering information about an ex volunteer.

A reminder to everyone,

We will not tolerate any disrespect towards any of our volunteers. We have rules and guidelines in place to make our every day operations run smoothly as possible. We must also follow the rules imposed by our landlord. If you cannot comply, we are not the pantry for you. If we ask you to please move your vehicle, it’s because it’s interfering with the other businesses in the plaza. This is private property and the food pantry is a private entity.

It was brought to our attention that someone received a Taylor farms lettuce at our pantry. We apologize if that is the case. Even tho the affected batches have been already removed from circulation, We are still being extremely careful with everything going out. In the rush of getting everyone in and out as quickly as possible we could have made a human error and let a couple of bags slip by. Please, if you have received any Taylor farms product from our pantry, err on the side of caution and discard immediately. I have attached a statement from Taylor farms site.
