Founded in 2017, we are dedicated to one mission: acquire land for education, research, and the preservation of Cape Coral’s indigenous wildlife. Not only will this plan ensure that burrowing owls, gopher tortoises and other wildlife will be protected, but it will provide opportunities to educate residents and visitors. Reminder! The Annual Burrowing Owl Photo Contest is underway, but there are only a few days left to submit your photos!

The contest is open to amateur photographers of all ages, with both Youth (ages 7–17) and Adult divisions. We’d love to see your favorite Burrowing Owl photos entered for a chance to be featured and celebrated.
