Hi everyone,

Due to the potential high winds and rain moving through the area, we are postponing tonight’s Tailgate BBQ Contest. Our goal is to ensure the experience is fun, safe, and frustration‑free for all youth and families, and the current weather conditions for tonight would make that difficult.

The Lee County 4-H Tailgate BBQ Contest has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 29 at 5:30 PM under the Tinsley Pavilion- we hope to see you all there!

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. We look forward to seeing everyone on the new date for a great event!

Hi everyone,
We are monitoring the weather closely out of an abundance of caution for this evening’s Tailgate BBQ Contest scheduled for 5:30 PM. We want safety and the best experience for our youth as they compete.

We will provide an update by 2:00 PM with a final decision on whether the event will proceed or be postponed. If a reschedule is necessary, we will share the new date and time as soon as possible.

Graduating Seniors! Don't forget that Fair Scholarships are open! We are often asked if the funds can be used toward Trade Schools and Certification Courses. Absolutely!!

When preparing your application, be sure to read ALL of the instructions and follow them accordingly. Applications that are incomplete or directions not followed may forfeit your opportunity for scholarships. The deadline is April 7th. Applications can be found on our website at www.swflcfair.com
