You may know us as the people at the window, on the phone, or the signature at the end of a letter — but we would like you to get to know your Treasurer's Office team a little better.

Over the coming weeks and months, you can expect to see helpful reminders, payment information, important deadlines, office updates, new services, and occasional posts from the team members who assist you with your county taxes and payments.

Our office is much more than a place where payments are processed. We are the local team members who answer your questions, review your accounts, assist with payment concerns, maintain records, bump into you at the grocery store, and work each day to ensure your county services are accessible and understandable.

We could not be more excited to share the additional services we have planned, what we have been working on, and where we are going next. Be sure to follow this page for news, reminders, and updates directly from your Northampton County Treasurer’s Office.

For our first update, the Northampton County Treasurer’s Office is pleased to announce the installation of a new drive-up payment drop box, available for taxpayer use during our busiest seasons.
The drop box provides a convenient option for submitting tax payments without entering the Administrative building nor Treasury. While the box is open for use, it will be checked each business day by Treasurer’s Office staff.
Please remember: NO CASH PAYMENTS may be placed in the drop box under any circumstances.
For security, please submit only check or money order payments and include sufficient identifying information so the payment can be properly applied to your account.
We are proud to offer another secure, convenient, and accessible payment option for Northampton County taxpayers during our busiest season.
We look forward to sharing more with you soon.

Your Northampton County Treasurer’s Office Team
Kristin Willis, Treasurer
Robernette Bailey, Chief Deputy Treasurer
Joseph Parrott, Deputy Treasurer
Tyshon Grant, Deputy Treasurer

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Bloom & Grooves this past Saturday!

From our amazing vendors to every single attendee who came out to support, we are so grateful. The turnout was incredible, the energy was unmatched, and the memories made will stick with us for a long time. It’s days like these that remind us how special this community truly is.

And we’re not done yet…

We’re so excited to do it all again in just a few weeks at May Dayz!
Join us for a full day of celebrating spring with:
• Tidewater Wood Turners
• Live music by the Vince Kornegay Band
• Local artisans
• Delicious food
• And of course… our Maypole!

The Maypole goes up at 12PM—Happy May Day!
This centuries-old tradition brings people together to dance around a ribbon-wrapped pole, celebrating the return of light, life, and the beauty of spring.

Bring your friends, soak it all in, and celebrate the season with us. We can’t wait to see you there!
