Twenty years ago, we decided to do something hard for those facing something even harder. Today, that spirit has grown stronger than ever.

Participants rode through the heat, the wind, and the darkness. Volunteers gave their time and talents. Donors and sponsors gave generously. Survivors reminded us why this event matters.

And together, you raised $500,000 to provide free resources and services at the Cancer Survivorship Center Powered by 24 Hours in the Canyon.

That's a reflection of who this community is. The kind of community that shows up year after year for people facing cancer.

To every rider, survivor, volunteer, donor, sponsor, and supporter—thank you. What you've built over the last 20 years is extraordinary, and we're incredibly proud to celebrate this milestone with you.

Today is National Cancer Survivors Day every year our local survivors gather and send our riders off to start 24 Hours in The Canyon. As riders we suffer for one day in honor of cancer survivors in our life.

Definition of a Survivor: The National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation defines a cancer survivor as anyone living with a history of cancer—from the moment of diagnosis through the rest of their life.

Purpose of the Day: While it is a celebration of milestones and life, it is also a call to action to bring awareness to the ongoing medical, emotional, and financial challenges that survivors face long after active treatment ends.

We support the clinic with the funds raised by 24 Hours in the Canyon all the services offered are free to any cancer survivor living in the Texas Panhandle regardless of where you are getting treated.
