🇨🇱 TEAM TEXAS NATIONAL SUBSIDY ANNOUNCEMENT 🇺🇸

Texas USA Wrestling is proud to officially announce the finalized Regional Subsidies for BOTH Women’s & Men’s National Duals and Fargo Nationals.

This was not a one-person effort.

This was a statewide collaboration between Texas USA Wrestling leadership, regional directors / board members, and partners all working together toward one goal:

➡️ Continuing to grow Texas Wrestling
➡️ Creating better national experiences for our athletes
➡️ Reducing financial barriers for families
➡️ Giving back directly to the regions that continue building the sport across Texas

A huge THANK YOU goes out to every Regional Director for their commitment, communication, and dedication to grow wrestling in their region throughout this process. Every region stepped up to help support Team Texas athletes competing on the national stage.

Each region has committed to providing a flat athlete subsidy amount that will apply toward BOTH:
🇺🇸 National Duals
🇺🇸 Fargo Nationals

These subsidies will be reflected as reductions on each athlete’s final balance invoice for their respective national trip.

In addition, we are excited to announce that has partnered with Team Texas to provide an EXTRA $100 Fargo subsidy for every Fargo athlete. 🔥

The BoutBoard Fargo subsidy will also be applied directly toward final Fargo balances.

This continued investment into our athletes reflects the direction Texas wrestling is heading:
✔ More organized
✔ More unified
✔ More opportunities
✔ More support for athletes and families

Texas wrestling continues to grow because of the people willing to work together behind the scenes to make these opportunities possible.

This one has been saved for the last shoutout as this one comes from the heart as his parents. When I say this kid of mine is amazing and has a TEAM backing him I truly mean it:

We are incredibly proud to stand behind one of the very first wrestlers on the West Texas Grapplers team. This team was built from the ground up by his parents—alongside another dedicated family—who shared a vision of bringing this sport to our community and creating opportunities there none existed before. There commitment, courage, and belief laid the foundation for something truly special.

From the moment he stepped onto the mat, he shined. His determination, growth, and heart have inspired everyone around him. We are proud of every step he has taken—both in wrestling and in life—and honored to support his journey as he helps pave the way for future athletes in our community.

His success is not just a personal achievement; it is a milestone for West Texas Grapplers and a reminder of what passion and teamwork can build.

We couldn’t be prouder to support you in your journey and most importantly to call you my son!!! Love you always and will always be in corner baby boy!!
