Wtamu - DESI Student Organization An organization for students from India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka
and others interested in the culture of the Indian subcontinent.

DESI is an on-campus organization which represents students from South Asia (India, Pakistan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka). The goal of the organization is to spread cultural awareness on the WT's campus. Throughout the year DESI students celebrates different festivals on campus to give an exposure of South Asian culture and tradition. Students do social gatherings once in every month and take part in on-campus events and activities to help bridge all cultural gaps.
