Support Helping Hands Today
For more than fifteen years, Helping Hands has allowed us to witness moments that could only be described as “God Things.”
Unexpected provision.
Lives changed through simple acts of kindness.
Ordinary people showing up at exactly the right moment.
Over time, I began writing those stories down so they would not be forgotten.
Today, I’m humbled to announce that God Things is now available.
This is not just a book about Helping Hands. It is a collection of real moments that remind us God is still working through everyday people willing to serve others.
Some stories are joyful. Some are difficult. Many are deeply personal. But all of them share one thing in common:
We were not alone.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey over the years. By supporting this book, you are also supporting the mission of Helping Hands.

Something special happened this Saturday… ❤️
With rain in the forecast, we moved our Helping Hands pack day indoors. We expected it to be a little crowded—and it was—but what we didn’t expect was what came with it.
People who may have never met before found themselves shoulder to shoulder, working side by side… and something changed.
Conversations started.
Laughter followed.
Strangers became friends.
In the middle of packing groceries for our Neighbors in Need, a deeper kind of community took shape. Not just serving together—but connecting, encouraging, and sharing in something bigger than ourselves.
Sometimes what looks like an inconvenience turns into a blessing.
Because in the end, it’s not just about the groceries we pack…
It’s about the people we become while serving.
Neighbors Serving Neighbors. Always.

Rain or Shine… Our Seniors Are Counting on Us ❤️
This Saturday is our regular Helping Hands Grocery Pack Day—and while the weather may be bringing rain, our mission doesn’t stop.
Because of the forecast, we’ll be moving indoors this month. It may be a little tighter than usual, but the need is just as great—and so is the opportunity to serve.
Every bag we pack means a senior in our community has food on their table. Many of them are shut-in and rely on these deliveries more than we realize.
🕗 Start Time: 8:00 AM
(Setup begins earlier for those who like to jump in and help)
If you’ve ever thought about joining us, this is your moment. Bring a friend, bring your family, and come be part of something that truly matters.
We don’t cancel for rain… because hunger doesn’t take the day off.
