Calling all rescuers near Clermont, FL - or anyone who wants to help. Trying to plan a group rescue this weekend or next (depending on response). We attempted to get this girlie a couple weeks ago but she is extremely elusive. I will say there is a small Gator in the pond she is around (2 1/2 foot, roughly). But we NEED to get her ASAP! She has fishing line wrapped around her leg and the foot is swollen, badly. Any help would be greatly appreciated, we are in Cantonment, FL so this is a 6+ hr drive for us to attempt to help this sweet girlie.

These littles.... they are definitely related to Lima 🤣😂 as soon as I come in the room they are eyeballing me.... and then immediately start complaining about the lack of wormies.... 🥰🤣😂

This is not the update I wanted to share, sadly the sweet girlie (Heaven) passed away enroute 😭😭. This is ALWAYS the hardest part of any rescue situation. We know this is a possibility going into any rescue situation, but it is ALWAYS heartbreaking 💔 😭😭. The cruelty shown towards these sweet babies is unnecessary, they are not aggressive. Shame on whoever did this, yes - a human did this, a human caused her injuries 😭😭 RIP sweet girlie Heaven!!
