This is going to be a long one, so bear with me. 🩷
We've had so many questions asking whether the Lady MissFits will be playing fall ball, so we wanted to clear things up.
The original Lady MissFits, coached by Coach Eddie, will not be playing fall ball at NEP or anywhere else in Florida. As many of you know, our family made the difficult decision to relocate to Texas to be closer to family. It has truly been one of the hardest decisions we've ever made, and leaving behind the girls, families, and community we've come to love has not been easy.
Since moving, we've had so many people reach out asking about the future of the Lady MissFits. While we're sad that we won't be there, we know Pensacola is filled with incredible coaches and programs for the girls we've had the privilege of coaching, as well as those who hoped to become future MissFits.
The good news is that while the original Lady MissFits chapter in Florida has come to an end, the Lady MissFit name will continue!
From day one, we've always said, "Once a MissFit, always a MissFit." That will never change.
To every player and family who trusted us, supported us, and became part of our softball family…thank you. We hope that beyond wins and losses, we helped instill a love for the game, confidence in yourselves, resilience through challenges, and the determination to give your best in everything you do.
We'll miss our Florida girls more than you'll ever know, but this isn't goodbye, it's just the next chapter.
So keep an eye out...because the Lady MissFits are headed to Texas! ✌🏼🩷🥎
