Village Lunch Project One community helping our children have paid lunches at local schools. Sometimes it takes a village to raise children.

I'm using this platform to ask my family and friends for donations to cover some our our local kids to pay for their lunches.

Hey guys! I just realized I havent checked back in in a bit. Thank you for everyone that donated so far. We were able to deliver 150.00 to Beulah Elementary last week. I'm sure it will be put to use to help out one of our future leaders.

Hey guys! A few people have voiced concerns over a childs info being shared. Rest assure, this is not the case. All funds will go to my contacts. I/we will not have any information about the children it benefits. I plan to actually just hand it over and let the contacts decide how to disperse it. Whether its find one child they think/know it would benefit the most and cover them the entire year, do it day by day to whomever needs it, or randomly pick a child to help. No personal information is being shared to me or this group. -Dana :0)

I learned recently that Beulah Elementary is not a school that received the "Free Lunch" grant money in Escambia County. I have spoken to an employee of Beulah Elementary and also learned there are several children being denied hot meals and only served water, bread and cheese. Yes, these kids have parents that could and should request free or subsidized meals, but for one reason or another....the parents have not and the children are being denied the same meals their peers with paid lunches are receiving. I have been told it cost about 65 bucks a month to be in "paid" status for meals. My goal is to get enough donations from friends and family to take care of at least one childs meals for the rest of the year. Please join us! At this time, I will meet most people for donations or give my address for those I personally know.
