WOW! Our first event ever is officially in the books, and we are overwhelmed by the support for our launch. These heroes shattered our goal, and raised a total of $17,750 for our neighbors in Stark County. Almost every person in the room donated! If this first chapter is any indication of what’s ahead, we can’t wait to see the rest of our story play out. Thank you to everyone that stepped up as a HERO, and is making this idea a reality for our community. One day, when we are feeding thousands, we’ll look back on this event and say this was where it all began 🧡

Reminiscing on my trip out to visit SLC where this whole idea was brought to life 12 years ago.

I love these two so much. Rob, the one who started this and never forgets the heart of it all. Jenni G, who keeps this whole thing alive and could probably retire if she charged me for our calls 🤣

It’s hard to put into words the value of having a national foundation behind us. The simplest way to say it: they’ve already tested, refined, and perfected - and we get to plug in once it’s working at its best. How cool is that?!?

We don’t have to reinvent anything. We get to stand on a model that’s already PROVEN and constantly improving. That means every dollar donated goes further. No waste, more families fed, and more communities united.

⭐️ MORE MONEY IN = MORE IMPACT OUT. It really is that simple, and we owe a lot of that to the team at SLC Thanksgiving Heroes who did all the hard work that allows us to provide a service like NO other.

New heroes on board! 🦸‍♀️ 🦃 Did you know Thanksgiving Heroes serves across the country? All because of one act of kindness when our founder Rob Adams was a child!!! Just amazing. New turkey suits are in order 😆 Welcome!

We are so excited to officially welcome Tiffany Abrishami and Karen Francis as they lead the charge to bring Thanksgiving Heroes to Orange County. Their goal for this very first year is ambitious and inspiring: providing Thanksgiving meals to 726 families in need! 🦃✨

What started in Salt Lake City has continued to grow across the country because incredible people step up and say “yes” to serving their communities and Tiffany and Karen are doing exactly that.

We cannot wait to see the impact that will be made throughout Orange County through partnerships, volunteers, donors, and neighbors helping neighbors.

Why Stark County? Because hunger hits home 📍

Approximately 15.3% of Stark County’s population (over 57,700 people) faces food insecurity, with 20% of our children affected.

These aren’t just statistics; they are families, friends, coworkers, and neighbors in our community that are currently experiencing hunger and may not have a Thanksgiving meal unless someone steps in.

We believe Stark County is full of people who care deeply and are ready to make a difference, and we want to offer them an opportunity to connect with their community in a memorable way this holiday season. It’s not all that needs done, but it’s our small way of making a big difference during the holiday.

Big news over here at Thanksgiving Heroes Stark! We just received our FIRST DONATION ever!!!

Thank you to Walmart Massillon for being our first HERO and providing us with a $2,500 Spark Good grant to kick things off. We are so thrilled to recognize you as the first of many heroes on our WALL OF FOUNDERS! This isn’t just about this year’s Thanksgiving distribution, it’s also about the start of something bigger that will serve thousands in the years to come.

I know it's hard to care about Thanksgiving in April, but we’re inviting others that see the TGH vision to be part of our origin story too. Anyone who gives $500 or more this year will be permanently recognized as a Founding Donor on our website’s Wall of Founders.
