This June, we invite every member to join us for the final Black Dollar Days of the Soaring Administration.

Through the power of intentional spending, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® members have invested more than $50 million in Black-owned businesses during this administration. This June, we’re building on that legacy with a goal of spending $8 million more.

Every Pink Friday, we encourage Sisters to “Wear Pink, Spend Green, and Buy Black” by spending at least $19.08 with a Black-owned business.

Honoring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom today and every day. 🇺🇸❤️ As members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Upsilon Upsilon Omega remembers and salutes the brave men and women whose service and sacrifice continue to inspire us to lead with purpose, compassion, and gratitude.

This Memorial Day, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® pauses to honor the legacy of our nation’s heroes.

We deeply remember the brave men, women, and especially our courageous AKA Sisters who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our freedom. Today, we reflect on their profound dedication, and commit to upholding the values of unity and service they so proudly fought for.

The May Chapter Meeting theme was “Nurturing the Vine.” At the request of the Sisterly Relations Committee, Members wore shirts representing their year of initiation. This shows how truly cross generational Upsilon Upsilon Omega is!! All generations were well represented. 💕💚

At the conclusion of the meeting, some of the YLI participants honored the Upsilon Upsilon Omega Military Veterans with cards and certificates to thank them for their service. Thank you to the YLI participants for honoring the Veterans. 🇺🇸

Today, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Upsilon Upsilon Omega Chapter hosted Spring Into Wellness: Mindful Movement — a meaningful morning centered on movement, mindfulness, meditation, connection, and holistic wellness. 🩷💚

Participants engaged in a mindful walk, gentle yoga, guided meditation, and community fellowship while prioritizing wellness of the mind, body, and spirit.✨

We extend a sincere thank you to our incredible community wellness partners:
- Therapy Plus for providing mental health resources and support
- B-Fly Nutrition for offering healthy shakes and energy teas
- The Well for providing information and resources on physical activity opportunities in the Canton community
- GA Carmichael for providing health resources, blood pressure screenings, and glucose checks
- Ella Rose Yoga for leading a relaxing and restorative gentle yoga session and meditation

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and supported this event. Today was a reminder that wellness is not just physical — it is emotional, mental, spiritual, and communal.🌸☮️

Sometimes wellness begins with simply taking time to pause, breathe, move, reflect, and reset.
