On Thursday, September 24, 2026, the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, Upsilon Upsilon Omega chapter, hosted a voter registration drive at Canton High School in Canton, MS. Eligible Students successfully completed the voter registration application and received information on how to locate their voting precinct and the times that the polls will be open on the day of election. The students were excited to learn more about voting and are eager to vote in the upcoming elections!💕💚

The South Eastern Region pauses to remember the lives lost, honor the heroes who answered the call, and reflect on the extraordinary courage and unity that followed.

Twenty-five years later, the memories remain. The stories remain. The sacrifice remains.

We remember the first responders who ran toward danger.
